FAQs
Are your tents weatherproof?
Both our Tipi and Sperry tents are waterproof – the canvases for our products are built to withstand all wonderful English weather conditions. We have our wind calculations that show how safe the structures are based on the wind speeds on set up, during the event and take-down. We are always on hand to help and will keep a close eye on the forecast.
How do we secure our date?
To make sure we have everything booked in for you, we require a 25% deposit to secure your event date and all aspects of your quote. We then ask for the final 75% balance three weeks before your event. We will of course be in close contact during the lead up so will send you friendly reminders for when the balance is due. We can also offer a payment plan at no additional cost, just ask us about this when you get in touch.
Will you come and do a site visit?
Absolutely! We will certainly come and visit your site. We understand how important this is in order for you to visualise the space and for us to make sure everything fits – we are experts in this so don’t worry you are in the best hands! We usually conduct site visits during the week but can work with you to make sure the time is suitable.
Can we add items to our quote once we have paid the deposit?
Absolutely. Providing we have the equipment available you can change your quote as many times as you would like, right up until the final balance payment is due. We don’t however allow a reduction in the Tipi or Sperry tent size as once this is allocated we reserve this for your event only, allowing all other structures to remain available for hire.
When do you set up and take-down?
We will always do our best to accommodate your preferred set up and take down dates, working closely with your other suppliers to make sure everything runs seamlessly. Depending on your venue’s requirements, we usually set up on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, and dismantle on a Sunday or Monday.
Do we need to remove everything before you take down?
Yes please. We require all personal details, flowers and event debris to be removed before we arrive to site. It’s best to mention this to your suppliers when you confirm your booking with them too, just to make sure they allow time to clear away their belongings.
